Quick witted, unique and a whole lot of fun, Ophira’s smart writing and sassy charm thrills and kills audiences all over North America.   She has been seen on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend (CLICK HERE to see the clip) and as part of their “Fresh Faces of Comedy” campaign.  Watch for her later this month on Discovery Channel’s Sunken Treasure Bling, where she provides comedic commentary on lost treasures.

Hailing from Canada, she performs regularly at renowned comedy clubs across the country, including Carolines on Broadway, The Improv in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Stand-Up New York and The Comedy Garden at Madison Square Garden. Ophira has appeared at New York's most prestigious venues,  PSNBC and Luna Lounge.

Her television credits include appearances on The Guardian (CBS), Queer as Folk (Showtime), Best Week Ever (VH1's), the Oxygen Network, and her own half-hour comedy special on Canada on CTV's "Comedy Now!" She has performed in numerous comedy festivals including Montreal’s Just For Laughs, and the NY Underground Comedy Festival.  She is also a contributing writer to US Weekly’s Fashion Police, RedSnap Magazine and Jest Magazine.

Selected by BackStage as one of “10 Standout Stand Ups Worth Watching” in their 2004 Spotlight on Comedy Issue, you can catch her almost every Friday night in the West Village of New York performing at the prominent and highly recommended stand-up show, "Sweet Paprika."
